The safety needs of Krachi Nchumuru District is paramount to stakeholders and key actors of the area. It is for this reason that the Hon. DCE with support from the Krachi Nchumuru District Assembly donated life jackets to canoe operators and passengers along the Dindor crossing stretch.
Key among the entourage who accompanied the District Chief Executive to the site were Hon. Mananyi Maneh who doubles as the Presiding Member and Assembly Member of Konado electoral area, the Npp Coordinator of Konado electoral area, Hon. Amidu Seidu and a member of Npp, Mr. Shehu Abdullah Hidr,
Also representing the Krachi Nchumuru District Assembly was Asst. Director , Mr. Kingsley Odupong Obumator.
In his speech, the Hon. DCE remarked that, the life of every other human can never be replaced hence the need to safeguard the lives of his citizens.
Passengers were taken through proper usage of the life jackets. He added that, efforts of traders who cross to and fro on that stretch contribute magnificently to the Internally Generated Funds of the district so the Assembly will provide every necessary commitment to keep lives safe in the course of their activities.
The community members, through their leaders expressed readiness to make good use of the Jackets to achieve it's intended purpose.
The team left to Bawado and inspected a six unit classroom block which is currently under construction
Later, Hon DCE and his entourage visited Zongo Macheri where they interacted with traders of the Wednesday market at Macheri.
The team got back to Chinderi after a smooth interaction with the sellers.
