A VISIT TO NANA OKOEGYE II (ANKOBEA HENE FOR NCHUMURU TRADITIONAL COUNCIL, BEJAMSE, CHIEF OF CHINDERI) BY A CROSS SECTION OF CHINDERI MARKET WOMENA delegation representing a cross section of Chinderi market women, including Hajia Rahama, Hajia Barikisu, Hajia Baawe, Mma, and Mame Auntie Okru, visited Nana Okoegye II and his elders in his palace on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
The purpose of the visit was to express their deep appreciation to Nana Okoegye II and his elders for turning impossibilities into realities by establishing a remarkable and beneficial market for the residents of Chinderi and its environs. The women further conveyed their satisfaction by acknowledging that they would be ingratitude to God should they claim that the market is not benefiting them.
They concluded by offering prayers for Nana and his team, wishing them long life and prosperity. Additionally, they extended their prayers to Nana Obrempong Kanya II, the President of Nchumuru Traditional Council, Bejamse, who is regarded as the father and supporter of Nana Okoegye II, the beacon of hope for Chinderi. Nana, may you remain blessed.Nana Okoegye II expressed profound gratitude for the kind gestures exhibited by these women and reciprocated their appreciation for recognizing the efforts made by him and his team in establishing and maintaining the market. With divine intervention, he pledged to continue dedicating all his efforts to ensure the stability and progress of the market, seeking support and prayers from his father, Nana Obrempong Kanya II (the President of Nchumuru Traditional Council, Bejamse). He offered prayers for God's blessings, protection, and guidance upon all those who visit the market for business transactions.
He concluded by declaring, "Long live Chinderi, long live Krachi Nchumuru, long live Oti, and long live Ghana as a whole."
